Palera1n Team Teases iOS 16.4 Jailbreak for A9-A11 Devices

The palera1n team is teasing an update to its jailbreak that will bring support for iOS 16.4. Palera1n is a (semi-)tethered checkm8 jailbreak for A9-A11 devices. Currently, it supports iOS 15.0-16.3.

Earlier today, the team shared a screenshot of the palera1n loader running on an iPhone X. This follows the release of palera1n v2.0.0 beta 5 a week ago which did not yet support iOS 16.4.

Notably, the team also announced @dora2ios as its newest member this morning. The developer then shared the following progress update.


I finished baking palera1n.
palera1n rootless works on 16.4 now.
also, tweak injection works, but requires a tricky method. (for now)
