The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra camera scored 140 putting in a three-way tie for tenth place with the Google Pixel 7 and Vivo X90 Pro+. The iPhone 13 Pro achieved a score of 141 putting it in seventh place and the iPhone 14 Pro received a score of 146 landing in fourth. The top three smartphone cameras are the Huawei Mate 50 Pro with 149 and the Google Pixel 7 Pro and Honor Magic4 Ultimate, both with 147.

One of the issues with the S23 Ultra camera was instability in exposure.

Exposure instabilities were an issue though, with noticeable exposure differences between consecutive shots of the same scene. In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro was much more consistent. Tone compression on faces was another weakness in terms of exposure.
