George Hotz has announced his resignation from Twitter.
The legendary iPhone hacker, known as geohot, joined Twitter a little over a month ago. Elon Musk tasked him to work on improving Twitter Search; however, it appears that he was unable to make as much of an impact as he would have liked.

Resigned from Twitter today.
Appreciate the opportunity, but didn't think there was any real impact I could make there. Besides, it was sad to see my GitHub withering. Back to coding!
-----
Geohot also shared an image of his GitHub contributions which have stopped since working at Twitter. When asked if he made any contributions to Twitter's monorepo, Hotz replied, "Yes, though none too impactful." Asked if he had any regrets, Hotz said, "Nah, it is what it is. Still rooting for the success of Twitter 2.0!"
Notably, his resignation comes after a poll asking users if he should resign. 63.6% said no.
