Palera1n Jailbreak of iOS 16.2 Released for iPhone X and Earlier Devices

The palera1n jailbreak has been updated with support for iOS 16.2! The release was announced on Twitter by the dev team which includes @itsnebulalol, @mineekdev, @dedbeddedbed, @bestdevelopr, and @riscv64.

palera1n has been updated with iOS 16 support for A11 devices and lower! On iOS 16, the device must have never had a passcode set since restoring (only on A10+, A9 is not affected), and dev mode must be enabled.

Palera1n is a semi-tethered jailbreak that supports checkm8 vulnerable iOS devices on iOS 15 or 16. This includes iPhones and iPads with an A8 to A11 chip. Installation of the jailbreak requires a Linux or macOS computer with Python 3 installed.


This jailbreak is considered a work-in-progress developer jailbreak; however, the script does patch the kernel so you can use Sileo and install tweaks.
