Apple is planning to launch a new 15-inch MacBook Air and a larger 10-inch iPad next year, according to a new report from Display Supply Chain Consultants via iMore.
The prediction was made in the company's Quarterly Advanced IT Display Report announced by CEO Ross Young.
Just released our Apple iPad and Mac roadmaps in our Quarterly Advanced IT Display Report and see new display sizes next year for the iPad and MacBook Air. Will likely include in our talks at the SID/DSCC Business Conference on 5/9 for those interested.
Last year, Bloomberg reported that Apple was considering a 15-inch MacBook Air but decided not to launch one in 2021. DSCC also predicts that 13-inch MacBook Air will get a slightly larger display while keeping the same form factor.
Finally, a larger 10-inch base model iPad suggests that perhaps Apple could drop the Home button moving to a lower end device that looks similar to the 10.9-inch iPad Air.
