The Apple Car project has lost three key engineers in recent weeks, according to a new report from Bloomberg.
Eric Rogers, chief engineer for radar systems, left for flying-taxi startup Joby Aviation.
Alex Clarabut, engineering manager for the battery systems group, joined Archer Aviation, another company working on air taxis.
Stephen Spiteri, a hardware engineering manager, also left Apple to join Archer.
Apple's seven year car project has encountered frequent turnover and strategy shifts. The latest departures follow the loss of at least six other members of its management team including former heard Doug Field.
Conversely, Apple has made some key hires this year including Urlich Kranz, co-founder of Canoo, and CJ Moore, former self-driving software director at Tesla.
Despite some setbacks, Apple is purportedly accelerating development of an electric car with full self-driving capabilities.
