Apple to Release 2nd Gen AirPods Pro and 3rd Gen iPhone SE in April [Report]

Apple is planning to release new 2nd generation AirPods Pro and 3rd generation iPhone SE devices in April, according to a new report from Macotakara.

The AirPods Pro 2 will purportedly feature a new design for the charging case.

Chinese suppliers have told us that the AirPods Pro (2nd generation), which will be released in April 2021 at the same time as the iPhone SE (3rd generation), will have a new design for the charging case, which will remain 21mm thick, but will be 46mm high and 54mm wide, sources said.


AirPods Pro were a popular item this past holiday season. Apple sells the noise cancelling earbuds for $249 but Amazon currently has them discounted to $219. It's unclear what new features Apple will add but perhaps the AirPods Pro could see noise cancellation and battery life improvements.
