Apple Uploads 'iPhone 12' Icons Which Appear to Show Slightly Narrower Notch [Image]

Apple has uploaded new iPhone 12 icons on its iCloud website which appear to show a smaller notch. The icons were spotted by Apple Software Updates.

Have you ever noticed those images in the iCloud or the Apple ID website? Apple has uploaded 4 images for the iPhone13,1 13,2 13,3 and 13,4. No released iPhone uses those identifiers (the SE 2 is 12,8).

Taking a look at the images, 9to5Mac observed that the notch appears to be slightly more narrow.

Based on rumors, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a new design with flat edges and at least one of the new models — probably the iPhone 12 mini — will have a slightly smaller notch. When we compare the two icons closely, we can see that in fact the notch is a bit smaller — but nothing extremely noticeable.

Looking at the comparison image, we can see that the shape of the notch does appear slightly different. Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments!

Oh boy, whoopdeedoo! Like it makes the least bit of difference. They need to get rid of the notch and do it like other phones have.

Oh no, it’s definitely a problem. Next you’ll be telling me to make the entire rest of the bezels be part of the screen!

This is just because of the screen size like the screen to notch ratio is smaller in max sized phones or 11/XR
