New 2020 iPad Rumored to Feature A12 Chip

Apple is planning to release a new iPad with an A12 processor this year, according to Twitter user @L0vetodream. Currently, the 10.2-inch iPad runs on an A10 chip.

There's no mention of any other changes to the iPad. Recently, analyst Min-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple was working on a new 10.8-inch iPad for release in 2H20; however, it's unclear if this will be an update to the iPad or iPad Air.


Kuo also predicts a long awaited iPad mini update in 1H21.
