How To Delete an App on Your iPhone [Video]

These are instructions on how to delete an app on your iPhone. This procedure has changed slightly with the release of iOS 13.




Step One
Tap and hold the icon of the app you would like to delete. Once the contextual menu appears, select Rearrange Apps.




Step Two
Your springboard icons will begin to jiggle. Tap the X on the app you would like to delete, then press the Delete button button to confirm.


Step Three
Tap Done at the top right of the screen to finish.


Step Four
Alternatively, tap and hold the icon. Keep holding it as the contextual menu appears and disappears. The icons will then start jiggling. Tap the X, then press Delete to confirm, and Done to finish.
