Next Generation iPhone May Be Called the iPhone Pro

Apple may name its next generation flagship iPhone the 'iPhone Pro', reports CoinX.

The leaker, who correctly identified the names of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR, posted the following tweet earlier today:

“Pro” for iPhone? Crazy naming schemes over the past few years.


If Apple did refer to the new OLED iPhone as the 'iPhone Pro' it would align with the company's naming conventions for iPad. Perhaps the iPhone XR successor would be referred to as iPhone and the iPhone XS and XS Max successors would be iPhone Pro models in 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch sizes.
