Amazing Surfer's Journal Cover Photo Shot on iPhone [Image]

Both the front and back of the latest Surfer's Journal feature photos shot on iPhone. Apple CEO Tim Cook took to Twitter yesterday to express his love for the cover.

Loving the cover of the latest @SurfersJournal — #shotoniphone. @ZakNoyle captures the artistry and the athleticism of surfing. Makes us want to catch a wave of our own!

On Instagram, Noyle reveals that the cover photo was shot with an iPhone and AxisGo.

"If you can dream it, you can achieve eit! Beyond honored to have my image I shot at Off The Wall of Mikey Wright (@mikeywright1) on the cover of the latest @surfersjournal releasing today! Many have thought I was crazy swimming out with my iPhone, but to me it is a tool & the skies the limit when used properly as well as having the vision. I used the @axisgo wide angle lens as well added with a good bit of luck to achieve this image. Wait till you see the sequence.... thank you all that made this possible."

According to Stab Magazine, the back cover shot was also taken with an iPhone by DJ Marshall. It features a stack of sun-browned Sixties singlefins in the back of what may be a moving truck.
