Ryan Petrich has announced ProSwitcher, an upcoming utility to navigate through the applications running in the background on your iPhone.
ProSwitcher integrates with Backgrounder similar to how Kirikae does it; however, that may change in the future if need be. It will use a library called libactivator and allow you to select from a number of gestures which one you want.
ProSwitcher is being developed by Petrich with help from chpwn and is up on github right now. Currently there is no definite date on when it will hit a repository and be available to the general public; however, it will be free.
Kirikae is cleray the faster way of switching between backgrounded apps. Flicking between pages like this is to slow. Should at least show up to 6 apps or so for instant switching. Anyhow jailbreaking just keep making my 3GS unstable.
Kirikae is good for some, I double click home for iPod and that will make kirikae a no-no so this app is great, on the other hand if ur jb is not stable it means that one or some of the apps are incorrectly installed, that I got from experience.
Beautiful, if background apps and all this stuff works as good as it's been doing, more ppl would use their phones jb'd and so the Apple broken mind towards apps and iPhone user will change too, the next iteration of iPhone will be the Pro and the standard with the Pro having multitasking as the main thing.
