Next Generation Apple TV Spotted in Developer App Logs

An unreleased next generation Apple TV has been spotted in developer app logs. Firi Games co-founder and programmer Tijmen Roberti announced the sighting on Twitter.

New mysterious "AppleTV6,2" model sighted in Phoenix HD for Apple TV logs.

And it is running “tvOS 11.0”


The current model Apple TV has an identifier of AppleTV5,3.

Recent reports have alleged that Apple is testing a new fifth generation Apple TV that features 4K support and more vivid colors. The new Apple TV is internally codenamed "J105" and could be released as soon as this year.
