Official iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods Leaked? [Video]

A new video has leaked that shows off alleged iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods.

Unlike some previous 'leaks', these earphones do not have a clunky Lightning connector although the connector does appear to be slightly longer.

While it is widely expected that Apple will drop the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, it's still unclear whether the company will include Lightning earphones or a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter with the next generation device.

We've seen an official looking adapter leak but this could be offered as an accessory.

I do not like this idea. You can't charge your phone while you're using the ear buds. Stupid stupid stupid design. I don't need stereo speakers on a fricken phone! That's what my goddamn home theater system/ear buds/headphones/bluetooth speaker is for. I am on the nay side of this unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Lightning adapter with either 2 lightning ports side by side/on top of another or an adapter with a headphone jack with a lightning port arranged like the different ways I mentioned above. About what you mentioned with stereo speakers, that's like saying you don't wants the laminated display.

We'll see how right you are once this comes out. I hear a decent change between stereo and mono setting on many electronics I have used thus far. Not to say you are wrong on everything though. Two speakers would mean more to hear even with wider ones on bigger phones, but yeah I agree some phones are too thin for how they bend easily or too big to hold.

The video is not legit. Normally when the headphone jack is inserted and you turn the volume up the screen would show up as headphones rather than volume in this video which proves that its a fake video.

Did anyone notice that the volume control / microphone has been "relocated" to where the cable splits into L/R? Seems quite low to me for the mic to capture the conversation clearly. Compare this to the existing EarPod and you'll know what i'm talking about. Currently it's on the R channel cable.

Apple Earphones are crap so who cares. First thing I do is throw them into the garbage. People who use them have no idea what good sound is. As for users of Beats or Bose your in the same ballpark. Go for JH Audio or Shure.

The only garbage is your comment. I have owned 2 Apple EarPods because the one I'm using now almost lasts as the previous pair I owned and the sound is crisp, everything it targets and promotes they didn't lie about, and the sound doesn't drop which means that without a doubt it's what true sound is. These are the best earplugs I have used ever. It's what defies quality over quantity. Apparently you could care less to understand. Beats is in some ways okay but they have gotten a bit better, as for Bose, I tried a few headphones out and wasn't pleased.

The position of the mic/volume controller is not same as the existing earpod, i think is not legitimate.

Also about the headphone jack if I'm not mistaken the iPhone 7?which I call it a 6SS is not thinner then the 6 so what the fuck? I personally prefer the thickness and look of the iPhone 5S which will include a thicker battery which should last at least 2 days then a thin iPhone with a protruding camera and a tiny battery!

No arguments on everything you said but as you also said that smaller parts actually work better or use less battery then I agree and using those smaller parts with thicker battery thicker casing like the 5 would actually make sense and its Apple who is copying from others ( the iPhone 6 was copied from if I'm not mistaken the HTC ) and all this big deal people are having with the antenna lines on the back is behind my comprehension especially like you said using a case ( about the camera protruding ) you don't even see them and if you did I actually think that it looks better then without them but that's my taste. About the software everything on iOS 10 that I've seen till now was copied from somewhere else ( in fact not just iOS 10 but almost all iOS's ). So what I'm trying to say is if they took the technology that you just explained to me and gave us the option of thicker iPhone ( like the 6SE ) they could achieve something incredible, also I just saw the video over here of the new Samsung Note 7 and they actually did the smart thing and made it thicker then the Earlier Note, they also Added an iris detector, which is rumored to be on the iPhone 7 which if you ever jail broken your device you could have found it on iOS 7 already and I really don't understand why fix if it's not broken? The finger print is working perfectly but iris detection can be messed with just by using eye drops which some people have to on a daily bases or just sometimes but again Apple is the one that copy which don't bother me because they copy and make it better. But I really anted to thank you for taking the time to explain!

Funny how you said the iPhone copied HTC because of the lines when so,write the next HTC was released to look exactly like the iPhone 6 lines especially when it come to trying to copy the color just like when iPhone came in gold along with the tru tone flash. Also, explain to me what part of iOS 10 was copied, and sure some of what was featured in past versions was copied, but that's the case with android to anyway. Also, about iris scanner, I don't see how it can already be claimed for the fixed to be broken. What if Apple integrates it better to where it can see past the ye drops, moreover it's been mentioned that contacts can be permenant to the eye in order to restore vision from 20/20 but I'm sure iris won't be that much of a problem, but we'll see what happens when the time comes.
