Check out this new 15-inch MacBook concept by Martin Hajek based on the design of Apple's slim 12-inch MacBook.
So there is this rumour about a new, thin design for the MacBook Pro. I took my 3D model of the MacBook and scaled it up. A bit. To like 15″ size. Below are some comparisons with the current retina Macbook Pro (15″) and the 12″ MacBook. The beautiful OSX concept is by Andrew Ambrosino.
You can download Hajek's MacBook 3D model from here. More details on the OS X concept here.
Check out the images below and let us know what you think in the comments.
The 15-inch is just terrible. Why have all that space stretched out with the tiny keyboard like that? And for the sides, they look like you can fit a MagSafe onto it along with 2 USB-c ports, ssd card, and a headphone jack.
gross. Apple likes to hide speaker holes nowadays and the keyboard looks like its floating in a sea of Pepto Bismol. It's just not balanced well or something. The concept artwork itself is good, just not the design.
Hide? The MacBook Air has speakers that are probably on the sides, but in the case of MacBook, the speakers are right in front of the display placed above the keyboard and that's the case with the current ones. The MacBook Pro -3-inch does happen to have speakers positioned like 15-inch one. Just pointing that out to compare it to the air, but I will say that rose gold looks terrible here. As for the keys, they're not what you think it looks like unless you really do mean the concept.
