Orange Sold Over 70,000 iPhones in First Month

France Telecom unit Orange said it sold over 70,000 iPhones in the first month of its launch in France.
The company forcasted sales of 50-100,000 iPhones in the period and a spokesman told Agence France-Presse that they were "right in line" with this. He also said that 48% of iPhones sold went to new Orange clients.
Orange sells the iPhone for 399 euros with a contract and 749 euros for the handset without a contract.
