Step Two Usually the Theme will be zipped. After downloading the zip, extract it by double clicking on its icon.
Step Three In this specific case you will find a folder called Chalkwork. This is folder we need to copy to the iPhone. Inside this Chalkwork folder are the images for our theme. You will notice a Dock.png, MiniDock.png, Wallpaper.png, Wallpaper2.png, and a folder called Icons.
Step Four Launch your SFTP program. In our case we will click on the Fugu icon in the dock.
Step Five If you do not know your iPhone's IP Address you can find it by pressing Settings on your SpringBoard, then press to select Wi-Fi, then press the blue right arrow next to your network name.
Step Six In the Connect to: field enter your iPhone's IP Address. In the Username field enter root. Then press the Connect button.
Step Seven When prompted for a password enter either alpine or dottie or whatever else you set your iPhone password to. Then press the Authenticate button.
Step Eight Press the up arrow several times until you reach the root of your iPhone. Now navigate to /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes.
On the left side(local) navigate to your downloaded theme.
Step Nine Drag the folder containing your theme images from the left side into the Themes directory on the right. In our case this is the Chalkwork folder.
Step Ten Press the SMBPrefs button on your springboard.
Step Eleven Press to select Theme.
Step Twelve Press to choose your newly installed Theme.
Step Thirteen Press the Home button to view the Theme you just set.

I have installed summerboard theme to my 1.12 week 52 iphone (now upgraded to 1.1.4) and IT DOES NOT WORK....it used to work with 75% efficiency when I was on 1.1.3 firmware!!! I have all the app support patches for 1.1.4 already installed ( I am in Brazil)
Help please.....
How come I cannot install themes manually? It says something cannot connect through, and I cant install OpenSSH to my iphone and wont let me uninstall it.
Can you help me with this problem?
thanks
If you would like the lock screen wallpaper set by the general settings, and the SpringBoard wallpaper set by Summerboard then make sure both Theme Wallpaper and Wallpaper are set to ON in SMBPrefs.
Just like all your other work, great stuff. I was wondering if there is any way to change the wallpaper on the theme. For instance I like the Neurox Leopard SummerBoard Theme, but I would like to keep the Leopord wallpaper (the grass one, or even to select another one). When I change the wallpaper in the main settings menu it changes the Homescreen(right name?) and the wallpaper. I would like to keep that homescreen but have that wallpaper in the springboard to be different
Thanks
