The Apple Watch is Completely Sold Out

The Apple Watch is Completely Sold Out

Posted April 10, 2015 at 2:00pm by iClarified
Just hours after pre-orders going live, every single model of the Apple Watch is sold out.

Customers who stayed up to pre-order the device last night found that stock was constrained from the get go. Many models showed 4-6 week ship times even for those who got their order in immediately.

Looking at the shipping estimates now, every single one of the 38 models has a shipping estimate of 4-6 weeks or later, including the all the gold Apple Watch Edition models.

Notably, the model that is most constrained is the 42mm Space Black Case with Space Black Stainless Steel Link Bracelet. The model is estimated to ship in July!

If you got your order in last night, what was your expected delivery date? Let us know in the comments!

My ship estimate is June. Sadly. If they don't move it up, I will have to cancel. I will be on vacation for 3 weeks in June to Europe.

My order for Apple Watch Sport 38mm with White Sport Band is expected to deliver 4/24-5/8 while Apple Watch 38mm SS with Black Sport Band is expected 4-6 weeks. Anyone getting sooner than this on either model?

When did Tim Cook state sales numbers? Apple stopped doing that a long time ago. The same people who bought iPhone to resell them are likely the ones he is talking about.

At 1099 there are a lot of people that obviously have nothing better to do with their money. BTW at a $700 upcharge for a black IP add at least another $600 PURE PROFIT to the base model. I must say Apple really knows how to rake it in!

Well isn't that nice! People can actually wait for the store to open in the UK and Australia and get it in much shorter time than us here in the United States! Thanks Apple

Isn't that worth it. Buying something when you can simply win them out of the prize vault game machines seen in malls from Wisconson, Lousiana, Texas, Florida, and Mississippi. Thanks wise guy. The watch will be in them really soon.

Australian Apple Store was down until 5.04, my order was processed by 5.06 and expected shipping date is 24/4 - 8/5. I went for the cheapest model, silver 38mm with white band

Unbelievable! Do people really need this? It's nice to have it but is it worth (minimum) $349 for the price of admission??! Do they like to carry 2 devices at the same time? Are they all really that busy that they constantly get calls, txt messages non-stop and are they really that lazy to take their phone out of their pockets to see who's calling or texting? I don't care whether it's iOS, android, windows, or whatever, I will only pay this price if a smart watch can replace my cellphone; otherwise, it's just an accessory to my phone and therefore, I won't need it and it's not worth $349 and I can only throw away $200 max for a toy like this

Let me tell ya, sitting down with iPhone in the pocket is a b1tch to get out. When it also comes to having it on silent and vibration is off, you can never miss anything that appeared on the phone again when you can finally see it on the watch, plus it has health benefits and can track gestures of your movement, and the best part? Cheating on a test couldn't be any simp,er than this since you draw anything to send to another Apple watch user, and finally soon, apps that can help you look for things I. Stores, add more functionality, etc.

Do you have a smart watch? Currently I have a pebble. Initially I had the same thoughts when I first saw the Pebble. Now that I have it, its great! Smart watches is a great companion to our phones. Notifications and what not. Apple so far always execute their product well, very well in fact. I have no doubt the apple watch will be better than my pebble. Heck i just found out it can connect not only via bluetooth but wifi as well. I'd say try out a cheap smart watch before you judge. Get a Pebble and go from there.

I'd test both. That's the best way to judge.

@ ExApplefanboy: trolling and claiming your nonsense is really a waste of time. Since you think highly of Android, you wanna buy a galaxy gear from one of my Android user buddy? It just stopped working after 5 months..cost him 299..I'll give it to you for 1 dollar? Let me know?

4 - 6 weeks, May 13th - 27th. Watch sport, space grey, 42mm. I'm patient and it'll probably come before the predicted shipping date. I'm looking forward to using the new product.

It's a joke my ass! There was a post saying how much went into this, plus the fact it's sold out shows how much you could care less into actually using it! Did we all not know from the same company that made iphone and that grew huge to this day, why not wait a few years for the watch, plus looking at things you do with it, apps for it can show how much functionality it will add, did I forget to mention the possibilities of jailbreaking it? We did so much on iphone and it made our lives change so much, what makes you think a watch will fool us? nice try throwing us off!! The watch is supposed
gamerscul9870
gamerscul9870 - April 10, 2015 at 3:23pm
The watch is suppose to help your habits and get you moving. What makes you think it would make it work you that hard?? That's a joke of yours that defies them!

The fact that it's sold out shows how many sheep there are. It's really no different than Samsung's watch but because it's Apple people are willing to pay $17,000. That to me, is a joke. That's my opinion, deal with it.
gamerscul9870
gamerscul9870 - April 11, 2015 at 1:10pm
Why not win one. Where you may ask? In malls where I recently saw a prize vault game where every new apple product is in it as a prize redemption. This key you move allows you to win them. If you want, I can show you a trick to win it after one attempt. (It's like Keymaster, but I thought of a little secret trick though to beat it).

If you feel that strongly about the watch and feel that android is better why don't you buy the people you are trying to convince an android device. Oh but you won't do that huh? Well let them spend their money on the things they want and if you don't agree but what you like for them and then they can save their money and you save them from from sending it.
