Tinder Becomes a Freemium App With the Introduction of Tinder Plus

Tinder has launched Tinder Plus, limiting the free features of its app, and introducing a couple new features for those willing to pay $9.99/month.
Previously, Tinder users could like as many people as they wanted, but starting today there is a limit on the number of likes you get. Once you pass that limit (around 50), you'll be prompted to purchase Tinder Plus for $9.99/month or wait around 12 hours for a new batch of likes.
Purchasing a subscription to Tinder Plus gives you unlimited likes and access to the two most-requested features, Passport and Rewind.
Passport:
With Passport, we've created an entirely new way to facilitate global connections on mobile. Passport lets you change your location to connect with people anywhere around the world. It's like teleporting to a different location. Search by city or drop a pin on the map and you can begin swiping, matching and chatting with Tinder users in a destination of your choice. Navigate between your current location and new destinations. Passport creates real, one-on-one connections with people across the globe. Whether you're planning vacations and business trips or simply expanding your social network, with Passport, you're swiping before you arrive.
Rewind:
Rewind lets you take back your last swipe. If you accidentally swiped left on someone you want to get to know, they're no longer lost in the Tindersphere forever. Now you can get him/her back with the touch of a button.
Unfortunately, it seems as though Tinder Plus pricing is still an experiment in progress. There have been reports of numerous price points from $1.99/month to $19.99/month. In Europe, it appears as though users over 28 are being charged four times as much £14.99 ($23) for a subscription as those under 28 £3.99 ($6).
You can still download Tinder from the App Store for free. Let us know your experience in the comments.
