Verizon iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Users Get Simultaneous Voice and Data

Posted September 20, 2014 at 9:26am by iClarified
Verizon users who have the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus can finally get simultaneous voice and data. The carrier began rolling out its Advanced Calling service earlier in the week which enables voice over LTE (VoLTE) for select devices.

Numerous iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users are saying that the service is now functional, reports MacRumors. This lets customers use voice and data at the same time when connected to a 4G LTE network.

Verizon has also launched HD voice calls:

Advanced Calling 1.0, a first-generation service suite enabled by Voice over LTE, or VoLTE, technology, is now available on America's largest and most reliable 4G LTE network with XLTE. With Advanced Calling 1.0, there is a clear difference. You will be able to enjoy natural-sounding High-Definition (HD) Voice and a Video Calling experience that's as simple as making a traditional voice call.

To utilize these new features, make sure that both Voice & Data are enabled on your device. Tap Settings from the SpringBoard. Choose Cellular. Select Enable LTE then tap Voice & Data.

If the feature is working for you already. Let us know in the comments.

t-mobile is the shit compared to cricket. Even with a bit more cost you get tons more features from them. Music unlimited streaming, 4 lines for $100, simple choice plan of $30/month, etc.

TMobile is shit compare to a CDMA coverage. Technically it's below Verizon (that covers cricket, page plus and others), for GSM its AT&T for coverage and service. 100 for 4 lines, but expires jam 2015 and then you pay 30 plus for each phone on top of the 100 you owe or you lose the number...bait and switch anyone?
