Instructions on how to jailbreak your iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini, and iPad mini Retina on iOS 7.1 - 7.1.2 using Pangu. The Windows tutorial is here.
If you aren't already at iOS 7.1.2 we suggest upgrading to the latest firmware using iTunes. You can find download links for iOS 7.1.2 here.
Double click the downloaded DMG to mount it, then drag the Pangu application into the iClarified folder.
Step Two Double click the Pangu application icon to launch the utility.
Step Three The utility will launch.
Connect your iPad to the computer via a USB cable. Click the large black Jailbreak button to the right of the screen to begin your jailbreak.
Step Four A guide will popup asking you adjust your date back in time.
Tap Settings on your Springboard then choose the General menu.
Select Date & Time from the General menu then tap the Set Automatically switch to turn it to the OFF position.
Press the date and time that appears and scroll to move the date back to June 1st, 2014.
Step Five Once the date has been adjusted, the Pangu app will begin the jailbreak process.
A new Pangu icon will appear on your Springboard. Tap the icon then press Continue when prompted to confirm the launch of the application.
**If you wait too long to launch the app on your SpringBoard, you will see a red message on the Windows app and will need to start over.
Step Six The Pangu utility will continue with the jailbreak. Make sure to keep the device connected and do not close the app.
Step Seven Once complete your iPad will reboot and you will see Cydia on your desktop!
*A big thanks to the Pangu team and all the others who contributed to this jailbreak.

CAUTION
currently the mac version 1.2 doesnt work. It says there is a new version available and to update to that version.
Going to the pangu site, there is no updated version. Downloading their latest version gives the same error.
Guess there is one in the works but its not there yet. Maybe Iclarified can confirm
I think I solved the problem. I disconnected my computer from the internet then opened pangu, when it came up with the jailbreak option, I then reconnected to the internet. My guess it goes back to some server to check version, without discerning if its Mac or PC. Seeing PC updated it gives the error message.
i jailbreak-ed using Pangu but safari and mail app was not working so had to reset my ipad air now cydia icon is missing though few tweaks running fine.............. what to do ?
please help!!
Tried it 10 times. Did not work for my iPad Mini.
It broke up before the reboot process was finished and did not detect the reboot at all.
Please clean the bugs.
