Concept designer Martin Hajek has posted new iWatch[S] and iWatch[C] concepts. Both feature a new clock face and of course the iWatch[C] has a plastic band.
Nobody knows what the iWatch will look like, not even the infamous Sonny Dickson has leaked any parts yet everyone knows about the production problems which Apple purportedly is facing. All I do know for sure is that I had little problems visualizing the iWatch[C] and iWatch[S] on a wrist.
Take a look at the concepts below. Both 3D models are available for purchase. You might also want to check out the original concept.
I say, Apple studies the landscape first. Then Apple innovates and adds value - leaps and bounds over the competition -- Apple does not INVENT from nothing. There were SmartPhones before iPhone. Those phones of course could (browse the net, make calls, record video, take pictures and play music) - HOWEVER those SmartPhones functioned poorly. Apple provided Multi-Touch (keyboard-less) to a simplify the bulky devices of the past - apps became buttons - the landscape of computing on a portable device was changed. Apple doe not copy - but INNOVATES with the products out there. ITs called IMPROVING... and iWatch will be BEYOND any other companies thinking. As will iTV.
Smart watches have been around for years and years, and every couple of years a manufacturer makes a leap forward but it's the same thing just upgraded.
The reason Samsung jumped in is purely because of the rumors of and iWatch from apple.
So desperate to not look like they were copying they quickly released a product which by their own admission is a bit rubbish.
No one even knows if Apple is even working on an iWatch. Up until now they are all pure novelty and no real world use.
Apple is definitely working on wearables, but who says its a watch?
To clear everything up, if a product is rushed, then it's nothing, if a company took their time to make something first then they made innovation first, if a company waited for some other co.'s concept then made theirs first, then they didn't think about how it turned out nor it was the first for them to make anything new.
Apple is waiting till there are more smart watches on the market so they can copy the best features and put it on their device and slap an apple logo on it. The following year they will make the same watch and add one feature from a company the will buy out. It's kinda their thing.
If you've been following Dickson on Twitter, you would've known that he is stepping away from technology. He doesn't want any trouble from Apple so he decided to step off.
