Viber 4.0 has been released bringing a new Instant Hold and Talk feature, the ability to forward any message, a new background gallery, over 1000 stickers, and more.

I press Hold&Talk and I talk, and when voice message is sent, neither me nor reciever can hear any sound/voice. Why is there no recorded sound? Only empty seconds.

Hi, I receved a voice message of 27 sec I cant open...when I tap on it to hear it it doesnt open at all. Can you please tell me how can I try to hear this message?

Hi! I tried to save the voice messages i received from my viber but no avail. i connected my Lg gpro to my laptop hoping i can find the file in other folders but unfortunately, i cant find the file. is there a way that i can save the file. Thank you!

Is there no really other way to sync audio messages from laptop viber windows 8 to iphone? I'm still using the same number. There's no push to talk play and stop button in windows 8. =( HELP!

Hi, This push-to-talk message should sync to both your Windows 8 computer, as well as your iPhone. You will be able to play this message on your iPhone.

snce the latest update, my hold&talk messages are not working on viber. every time I push the button to record a message it says that it cannot be recorded at this time and that I need to check if my mic is not used by another app. But it's not! Also calls viber to viber I cannot receive since the latest update. when I call friends and they answer, the connection gets lost iin 2 seconds without we being able to even hear each others voices. when a friend calls me and I answer, I cannot hear anything and the friend says it never stopped ringing, like I'm not picking up at all. :'( HELP!

Latest Viber 4.0.3 on PC and for Windows 8 do not show the latest messages I have on my Android phone. Also when I comunicate on my phone the apps on Windows will not update the converssations.

Hello I hava a problem with push-to-talk. When I tried to send voice message, viber said "a viber voice message cannot be recorded at this time. please make sure your microphone isn't using by another program" but I didn't use any other program at that time except viber... Also, when my friend sent me voice message, it can't be played even I pressed the play button.. Am I doing something wrong?? Please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you.

Hi Since I updated viber, I cant record voice messages and it keeps saying I have to check if my microphone is being used elsewhere and if isnt. More imprtantly I cant even talk on viber, I cant hear anything and the line drops within seconds. My phone is sony xperia L. Viber made my connection with my dad and my friends the easiest way possible, but now I'm really frustrated. Plz do your best to fix this problem, I can't update to an older version. Thank you

By the way I am using the viber for windows 8 in my laptop. I mean I can't find any play, stop and pause button. Just a word of "voice message." But what if I try to install the viber for windows, will the voice messages of my dad will be saved if I try to delete viber for windows 8? One thing, I deleted my dad's messages in my phone in viber. Will it still sync the old messages to my laptop?

Hi, You should be able to play Push-to-talk messages on the latest version of Viber for Desktop. You can get the latest version at www.viber.com The messages will not be deleted unless you deactivate or uninstall your Viber account on your mobile device. If the messages that you deleted off of his device were not deleted off of your device, the messages should still sync to your Windows 8 computer.

My hold and talk doesnt want to record messages it says to check if the microphone isnt being used by another application. I havent use any other application.. I cant listen to other people voice messages either.. Please help me!!

I wish you can update Viber that can save audio messages specially in desktop. Coz I want to hear my dad's voice again who died recently.. please Viber.. We're all begging that you make an update to save audio messages. Please please! It would mean a lot to me specially hearing my dad's voice all over again. Thanks.

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear of you father's passing. Unfortunately, there is no option within the Viber application to save audio messages. However, since these messages are so important, we suggest using a voice recorder or another device to save them.

How can I get that small number on the Viber icon that lets you know how many missed messages you have? The one that WhatsApp, email, Phone icons etc. have when you miss a call, when you have new mail etc.

I don't have iPhone. I have Samsung S3 mini with 4.1.2 Android OS on it. No numbers over the Viber icon, just push notifications or conversation bubble on the status top bar.

There is not meant to be a number on the Viber icon for Android devices. When you have a Viber notification, the Viber icon will appear on your notification bar.

Hi Lauren, We are very sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, there is no feature that lets you save voice messages. However, you can use an external voice recorder to backup these messages. They will not be saved within Viber, but you will at least have a record of the messages.

Hi, The push-to-talk feature is not available on Viber for Desktop. You can place Viber calls and video chat on Viber for Desktop.

Hey there, There is no push-to-talk feature on Viber for Desktop. You can place and answer voice calls, as well as video chat on Viber for Desktop. To send audio messages, you must use your mobile device.
