Apple has introduced AirDrop in iOS 7, a new way to share files with other iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch owners nearby.
Sending a photo or a document to someone via text or email is fine. But if that someone is right next to you, a text or an email suddenly feels like too many steps. Enter AirDrop for iOS. It lets you quickly and easily share photos, videos, contacts — and anything else from any app with a Share button. Just tap Share, then select the person you want to share with. AirDrop does the rest using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. No setup required. And transfers are encrypted, so what you share is highly secure.
Enable AirDrop: To enable AirDrop swipe up from the bottom of the display to access Control Center. Tap the AirDrop button then choose to make device visible to Everyone or just your Contacts.
Share a File: Tap the Share button in any application that supports AirDrop. Along the top of the share sheet you will see the file you selected. You can swipe left or right to select additional files for sharing. Below the file selector you will see a row of circular icons representing other users nearby. Tap an icon to send your selected files to that user.
Accept a File: If you are sent a file from another user, an alert will popup on your display asking you to accept or decline the transfer. Tap accept to approve the transfer. Once it's complete, the file will be opened in its appropriate application.

I do respect apple for the clever way they introduce their new iPhones and iOS. I'm gonna talk about the airdrop feature for now.
When Apple came up with the iPhone in 2007-2012, they intentionally dropped the feature of sharing files via Bluetooth and waited until clients got used to phones without it and almost forgot about it, then 6 years later (after the first iPhone)
They came up with Airdrop and promoted it as the new smart innovative way in sharing files between iPhones only and made their clients so excited about it. That's what I call smart, instead of making phones to fit customers needs, apple changed the clients needs to fit in their devices capabilities. Final word, airdrop is nothing but sharing files between iPhones only, and what's the next big thing is a feature to share files between iPhones and other smart phones.
Keep in mind that the $2 phones have had this features years ago sending pictures, ringtones, songs, applications and even chatting between any group of phones that have Bluetooth and regardless of their make or model .

Oh so the video is completely wrong stating its a peer to peer wifi connection... Why use bluetooth when wifi is better distance and has greater through put? So they can look at u with a strait face and say we won't support this on iphone 4 and iPad 3ed gen
What's funny is that i have ios 7 for couple of months now.My wife's iphone 5 i just update it today. Both of us we're having keychain and iradio!I have some friends visiting from Netherlands(we're located in US), they installed today the ios 7 on theirs iphone 5 and no iradio and no keychain.Any explanations for that anybody? Thanks!
The keychain feature is now showing, "coming soon". They took it out of the Gold Master Beta and also the final version that came out today. Also, to use IRadio you MUST have a USA Itunes Account.
Thanks Stevepon! The thing is we do have iTunes accounts based on US(we live here).
So last night I had it, I see right now I don't have it anymore!Right now I'm on 4g(usually is LTE or wifi home).
That's strange!
Doesn't work on the 4s. Once again Apple has decided to alienate a large portion of it's customer base.
After using ios 7 today I will not follow through with renewing my cell contract for iPhones and will move over to Android. I was also ready to upgrade my iPad but that ain't going to happen now either.
Looks like the Apple haters were correct. Tim Cook has destroyed Apple. Apple's closed environment is an insult to it's customers. The decision to ignore it's customers and produce products that control the customer is unacceptable especially at Apple's premium prices.
IT, in fact, is a very very complex matter. Especially if it's depending on different manufacturer to which you have no influence etc. That's why apple (google and microsoft and others) decided to build their own ecosystem. They all try to make IT easy for YOU. If you stick to one brand (e.g. Apple) you stick to happiness as close as possible.
I have a 4s too, and airdrop is just one small feature that's no longer supported. So what... pay for the latest hardware and/or just stay happy :-)
So if that's the case it should be supported on iPad 3 and iPhone 4S yet apple sucks and it will have to be jb to work. Just like apple once upon a time said video was impossible I a iphone 3G
