Apple has officially released iOS 7, the long awaited revamp of its mobile operating system.
“iOS 7 is completely redesigned with an entirely new user interface and over 200 new features, so it’s like getting a brand new device, but one that will still be instantly familiar to our users,” notes Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering.
Apple engineered iOS 7 to take full advantage of the advanced 64-bit technologies in iPhone 5s, including the native 64-bit kernel, libraries and drivers. All the built-in apps have been re-engineered for 64-bit, and iOS 7 provides a seamless developer transition with Xcode support and the ability to run both 32-bit and 64-bit apps. iOS 7 also provides deep integration with the new Touch ID sensor and takes full advantage of the new iSight camera sensor to enable new features like automatic image stabilization, Burst Mode and Slo-Mo video with 120 fps. Combined with the new Camera App in iOS 7, iPhone 5s provides up to two-times faster auto-focus, faster photo capture and better dynamic range. iOS 7 is designed to complement the gorgeous exteriors of iPhone 5c, with matching wallpapers and translucency that carry the color through the entire experience.
Highlighted New Features: ● Control Center, which gives you quick access to the controls you want in one convenient place with just one swipe from the bottom of your screen; ● Notification Center, now available from the Lock screen so you can see all your notifications with a simple swipe, and the new Today feature gives you an at-a-glance view of your day with a summary of the important details such as weather, traffic, meetings and events; ● Improved Multitasking that gives users the ability to switch between their apps in a more visual and intuitive way, and iOS 7 pays attention to which apps you use most and automatically keeps your content up to date in the background; ● AirDrop, an entirely new way to quickly and easily share content with people nearby; ● New Camera app filters so you can add real-time photo effects, a square camera option, and you can quickly and easily switch between your four cameras—video, photo, square and panorama—with just a swipe; ● A redesigned Photos app that introduces Moments, a new way to automatically organize your photos and videos based on time and location; ● Full-screen browsing with Safari’s new redesigned user interface, the new smart search field helps simplify searching, and there’s a new view for your bookmarks and your Safari tabs; ● Siri with new male and female voices,* Twitter search integration, Wikipedia integration and Bing web searching within the app; and ● iTunes Radio, a free Internet radio service featuring over 200 stations and an incredible catalog of music from the iTunes Store, combined with features only iTunes can deliver.
Additional new iOS 7 features include a new Find My iPhone Activation Lock, that requires your Apple ID and password before you can turn off Find My iPhone, erase data or re-activate a device after it’s been remotely erased; FaceTime audio for high quality calls over a data network; and new ringtones, alarms, alerts and system sounds.
1. Bit slow compare iPhone 5... 2. When photos are opening it goes left aline automatically 3. Not updating camera roll 4. SLOW RINGTONE AND ALERTS VOLUME 5. Apps are showing in updates after update them
Is anyone else's battery dying at a faster rate? I turned off locations and other things that I think it might be. But it's still draining it faster than usual.

first way if you are any beta 1 to 7 you have to go back to 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 to get the update on OTA, secound way download the iOs 7 from iclarafied and them conect you phone to itunes and click Update and HUALA the magic come on you iphone jajajaja sorry for my poor english lol
Hi, the iOS 7 is amazing but I have 2 things: 1-why there isn't a shortcut to switch the 3G on and off like the wi-fi from the control center and 2-why do the twitter and Facebook post shortcuts in the notification center have been removed? Thanks
Have updated my iPhone4 to ios7, it's running slow... Particularly typing is dead slow literally dead slow. Anyone facing similar issue? How to downgrade to ios6?
I've tested some betas on my iPhone 4 but it came down that the phone is too slow for iOS 7, at least for those betas. Is this final version faster on iPhone 4?
Did anyone managed to update and then downgrade to latest 6?
Yes, you'll be able to upgrade to 7.0 in iTunes, but you will lose your Jailbreak, as well as any non-store bought apps, along with any other non-Apple sanctioned modifications you've applied whilst jailbroken.
Does anybody noticed a decrease in battery efficiency. This new iOS is nice but it seems like it sucks the battery faster than iOS 6.4.X. Wi-fi, bluetooth, location/GPS, cellular data were turned off, it is even in airplane mode, the damn thing decreases by 1% every 3 minutes.
One of the few reasons why we can't jump to the new ios immediately, what if apple would later update it to make it better just like the past few ones we had! I want the old icons control center Siri font, every possible old look to be in ios 7 so everyone will use the latest version and be satisfied!
You must be on 4 or 4S. Remember, it's like using windows 8 on an old PC with Intel Core processor (old out-dated). The iOS 7 is ideally designed for newer devices. I'm having no such problem on iphone 5.
I have an iPhone 5...at first I thought because I've updated directly through the phone that it might be corrupted. I have restored since using iTunes but same results, extreme battery drain...phone would not last half the day. It has no problem lasting the whole day when it was on iOS 6.1.4...too late for me to go back to 6.1.4 :-(
I had all of the iOS7 betas, and i could back up and restore the phone whenever I wanted to. The official iOS7 came out today, so I tried downgrading to later then, update to iOS7. I can't do it because when it downgrading it went to factory settings (always happens when i downgraded) but this time it says that my phone could not be activated. I connect it to iTunes and it tells me that there is and unknown error (-9838) Anyone else getting the same thing? If you have any advice please reply ASAP.
Oh how I wish I had never upgraded to iOS 7. I hate the font and the interface design it feels like I have something stuck in my eyes and no matter how much I blink it won't clear up. Where am I supposed to touch? Steve would have hated it!!!
@Porky You can judge an iOS from some screenshots and hype. It wasn't until I started using it until I realized that it sucked. As I type, I'm using the iClarified old school keyboard and it's simple and clean. Besides, the interface seems to gag along. Porky, you drink the Kool-aid.. I still hate this OS.
This is why thought of making a rumor to apple about anything from ios 6 to be on ios 7 as an update later like if we wanted to switch between old and new Siri or old and new icons and now old and new font while on ios 7 like make switches for these! With me on these?
