Apple is currently signing the iOS 6.0.x firmware IPSWs meaning you can now downgrade your device for a jailbreak.
The news was first reported on icj.me; however, we have confirmed a successful downgrade. Hacker iH8Sn0w has confirmed the news as well as winocm.
Those on a newer firmware version that cannot be jailbroken should downgrade as soon as possible before the signing window closes.
Download the 6.0.x firmware of your choice from here: ● iPhone ● iPod Touch ● iPad
Then press and hold Shift(Windows) or Option(Mac) and click the restore button in iTunes. Select the downloaded firmware to downgrade. You can find instructions on how to jailbreak your device by using the iClarified Jailbreak Wizard.
To be informed of any updates please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS.
Update: It appears the window has already been closed.
i am using iPhone 5 GSM iOS7 Beta 3 and try to downgrade to 6.0.2 but window is closed. ı try everything but i have 1600 itunes error. i think i didn't save my shsh on 6.0.2
Who started this? I've been trying like forever.
What is the big deal if we want to jailbreak our devices.
We are already getting shortchanged with all the carriers taking away our unlimited data plans.
I am paying $220 for 3 iPhones.
Thats crazy!
I wish they would allow signing of iOS 5 and 4. Cause my 4 is a little laggy on iOS 6.1.2. But I least I've got a jailbreak so it makes iOS 6 tolerable!!!!
With all the hacking and breach of security issues nowadays, can they direct their attention to finding exploits for an untethered jailbreak???? *regrets asking this* Or maybe not. Last thing I need is a bricked phone cause hackers to some degree, are assholes.
