Cable operators live in the past and are totally UN creative in the way the deal with their 'Customers' and what they charge them if they lived in the present and thought forward into the future they would start having a better business model and happier Customers!

I recently cancelled by cable because for $45 I got basic SD cable - channels 3-18, heck channels 3-8 are local broadcast & I can get that in HD Over the air. Hence this is stupid, I still don't understand why networks don't give the option for a paid al le carte concept to use in-app or just add Ads into the app/shows (maybe they are already there, I'll never know).

This app and other like it are worthless to the milions of subscribers of providers like Dish Network. When are they going to learn that locking out millions of people is bad business.

I don't think they ever will. They're too greedy. Maybe when customers start dropping like flies they'll rethink it. Highly doubt it though.
