Posted May 1, 2013 at 3:41pm by iClarified
T-Mobile has announced that it has officially merged with MetroPCS to form T-Mobile US, Inc. which will begin trading on the New York Stock exchange under the ticker TMUS today.

"The combination of T-Mobile and MetroPCS creates an even stronger disruptive force in the U.S. wireless market," said John Legere, President & Chief Executive Officer of T-Mobile US, Inc. "Together, as America's Un-carrier, we'll continue our legacy of marketplace innovation by tearing up the old playbook and rewriting the rules of wireless to benefit consumers."

As previously announced, the Board of Directors of the combined company will have 11 members, including two directors of MetroPCS who will continue with the combined company. Tim Höttges, currently Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Deutsche Telekom, will serve as Chairman of the Board.

"By uniting T-Mobile and MetroPCS, we have created a dynamic new player in the wireless industry that has the right strategy and management team in place to compete successfully in today's marketplace," said Mr. Höttges. "We look forward to realizing the tremendous potential of the new T-Mobile."

Notably, this will bring the iPhone to approximately nine million MetroPCS customers as T-Mobile recently began carrying the device.

T-Mobile is unethical company as the HR and Mid-Level management is corrupt. One great example will be one of director of Engineering team John Pottle replaced one of the best manager by another manager under the pretext of restructuring. This let go employee is one of the most competent, educated, longest tenure at his position and an excellent attitude employee. Now all our mid-level manager says this was not due to his competency or knowledge or attitude, this was a business reason...He was the only colored skin manager in John’s team and his Job was given to Caucasian women, for some reason we want to say it is called racism...anyway, which employee or a normal person has strength or resource to have a legal fight. Director like John are protected by HR and lawyers of the company and it is well known fact just two years back someone else also tried to fight a legal fight on basis of racism in same director’s team, with no wining.

I would like to take the time to say that tmobile is an excellent service provider.I recently had a frusturating situation that they gladly helped me to resolve. Some companys would'nt have worked with me to come up with a solution as tmobile did. I must say.I am a very satisfied customer of tmobile..Their 4G internet is very fast.It was actually faster than my LAN.Trust me you won't be dissapointed!
