Apple has been making significant improvements to Maps, according to details published by The Loop.

The site says in addition to major changes to Maps in Japan, Apple has also done the following:

● Improved satellite imagery in a number of countries
● Location information for Apple Stores, businesses, movie theaters, restaurants, airports and transit stops.

Not really. I can't find simple addresses in the middle of new you're. That google maps finds instantly. How's that making improvements. And let's not even go into the lagging issues...

Too little too late. I use Google maps and set them as default using the MapsOpener JB Tweak.

Apple just hire the people at waze or tomtom to help you fix your maps program. Maps is the absolute worst thing about an iPhone in my opinion but I don't use it due to it being completely useless!

When will the apple maps show directions in india... Waiting since the new apple maps has arrived... Unless and until it shows directions in india its useless to us. So please do something.

Despite what some consider optional ideas and that the maps do need to be correct. I do like the enhanced perspective options. These especially true when showing family and friends in regards to places in their history. Bravo - PhoneApp.com !

who gives a FVCK about Flyover and 3D Buildings? worry about fixing the actual map of where the fvck roads actually are and what they're called before worrying about marketing features such as Flyover & 3D Buildings.

Who cares if anyone gets lost? As long as the buildings on the phone look pretty you'll be fine.
