Photos of the iPhone 5S rear housing have allegedly leaked already, reports etradesupply.
It seems that the pictures were taken at the assembly line of an operation stage. The photographer has showed the front and rear side of the housing, which looks very similar to the iPhone 5. However, the reason why we say it is a suspected iPhone 5s rear housing is that the specific information below the logo, which are replaced by “X”. Usually, the parts with “X” stand for test prototype.
Inside the rear housing, we can find some changes when comparing it with iPhone 5. First, the “iPhone 5s” has two less screw holes on the left side which are used to fasten the LCD. Second, the position of 3 screw holes used to fasten the logic board has been removed (not sure whether caused by the change of logic board).
Notably, the Commercial Times said Apple was set to begin trial production of the iPhone 5S in December with initial runs of about 50,000 - 100,000. A separate report also predicted the release of the next iPhone in mid-2013.
i hope i can buy iphone within 1 year, i always research the latest phone every month, but, android phones are so expensive for me because, i don't much have a high salary, maybe someday ican have this one. HEHE
I have been using iphone since first generation..and never been disappointed by the quality..ios etc..but honestly after using iphone 5 for almost 2 months now..I have to say..I am disappointed (biggest issue being maps)..apart from weight..and screen size..there is nothing new which I can't do on iphone 4s (yeah the processor is fast..i know)..I have only used samsung s3 for 2 days in the past (before iphone 5 launched)..and that was my first android experience..anyways I have been a loyal apple fanboy..but I can't say the same when new iphone will launch..one thing that set me back was how can apple expect us to use a map which is like way old..when we have been using the updated maps on previous versions...its like going back instead of moving forward..
I am also loyal iPhone customer last six yrs I am using iPhone but new phone has not impress me much , u said correctly other weight and processor there is nothing new on iPhone, I have used android but I am not fan of it , but recently took window phone lumia 920, new experience it is great os new in th market there are no app marke like apple but I ll tell must try windows phone.
Apple is like every other Empire that came before them, they have reached the peak, now they are on the decline.
There is only so much "innovation" until something new...
The iPhone 5 is merely the iPhone 2G in a different package, well, not so different.
S3 can be billion times better than iPhone but yet it doesn't change the fact that it exists because of the iPhone and it's a "followup marketing product". Actually that's why you're angry. And we all know it.
Yet apparently the range of Androids pumped out by Samsung etc. is one of the platform's strengths… how does that work? No-one's forcing you to buy before you need to… why does a new model make your current phone any less than the week before? Quit thinking having the latest & greatest means anything about you as a person, and maybe you'll be less pissed.
Still have my iPhone 4, and was contemplating sticking with my usual skip-every-other-upgrade schedule and getting a 5. Well, that was my plan until this rumor about the 5S popped up a couple weeks ago. I can hang on a few more months and get a new iPhone that's even better than the one on the market today; sounds good to me.
wonder if they're trying to realign the iphone with early summer release. and that would allow the shift in iPad release to october for pre christmas availability
Only reason for me to get an iphone now (and won't get one possibly until the 6) is I get to keep my unlimited data plan. If I lose that I have zero reason to stay as after several years android phones have caught up.
when cars have facelifts (ok, they don't change every year, but they are also a little bit more expensive than 700 bucks) like the BMW e46 had it three times, nobody screamed or felt cheated. also nobody felt "insulted" because the production begins just some time after the release compared to the lifespan of the phone/car. you are all just to sensitive about this whole consumption. dont want it? dont buy it. you're ok to stay with a phone for 3 years? why not? you can afford an update every year? go for it. where's the problem? i just cant understand what people sometimes expect.. do you want an 16mp cam 3ghz multiple core 100g heavy iphone for 300 bucks and get the next update in 4 years? come on people .. steve jobs said "think" !!!
Funny how sentiment has changed towards Apple just by looking at comments on iClarified. A year ago, Apple sheep had a hard on every time there was talk of a new phone/features. Now everyone feels cheated..LOL. Arrogance only lasts for so long.
