iOS 6 Offers New Wi-Fi Plus Cellular Mode

iOS 6 Beta 4 brings a new feature called Wi-Fi Plus Cellular that lets apps having trouble with poor Wi-Fi use cellular data instead.

The feature is accessible from the Settings -> General -> Cellular menu.

Also new in iOS 6 is the ability to decide whether to use cellular data for iCloud Documents, iTunes, FaceTime, Passbook Updates, and Reading List.

what kind of app can download over cellular but not over wifi..!!?? definitely att idea, so they can steal more money...!!!

I think the real use is to let u still be on wifi and have Internet access through your phone instead of the wifi network. That's not possible now. If I'm on wifi and the network has no Internet then your phone can't do shit online

Here's some real insight. Wifi Cellular is apples way of moving away from implemeting something like SBSettings on the jailbreak side. No need tonnage wifi/3G when whatever ur doing on wifi starts to stall. Also Bluetooth pairing is integrated into the media controls, one more reason to ditch the Bluetooth toggle in SBSettings. Thoughts?
