Seagate Begins Selling GoFlex Thunderbolt Adapter for 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drives

Seagate has begun selling its GoFlex Thunderbolt Adapter for 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drives, reports MacRumors.

Lightning quick transfers of large files. Connect to your GoFlex portable drive and Thunderbolt cable for interface speeds up to 20x faster than USB 2.0.

The adapter is described as working with Seagate's GoFlex drives; however, it's said that it will work with any SATA 2.5" drive.
