A Foxconn employee has reportedly told 9to5Mac that the iPhone 5 is being geared up for production.
The site says various sample devices are floating around with slight differences between them.
What They Have in Common ● 4+ inch display (made by LG on at least one of them) ● No teardrop-shaped devices as were rumored in the lead up to the iPhone 4S. Samples so far have been symmetrical in thickness. Also longer/wider. ● None of the sample devices have the iPhone 4/4S form factor ● None of the devices are final versions
Given that the iPhone 4S production didn't start until late Spring last year, if production is starting now it's likely that the iPhone 5 would be released by summer.
The site notes that this same source correctly indicated that the iPhone 4S would not launch last summer.
no no. It's the same source that correctly identified that the iphone 4S would not be released last summer. That's why there's no ? at the end of the title
With an open mind, I've tried to stray away from the iPhone, but I'm always left unsatisfied with the competitors.
Other smartphones just turn out to be a laggy imitation with a twist that just doesn't work or flow like Apple products. I've had every iPhone, every year, since the first generation. I wouldn't mind a change honestly, but no other device can compare.
That's my story.
I agree with you, Even I would not mind changing my phone to a non apple, but nothing in the market convinces me.
I used a s2 but don't get the great feeling and smooth flow, so had to go back to apple
