Light Pillar has announced the release of Desktop Tidy for OS X, an app that makes keeping a clear Desktop completely effortless. Whether customers want to clear their Desktop briefly to take screenshots, or just enjoy their wallpaper again, Desktop Tidy makes it quick and easy.

The Desktop is a convenient place to drop files temporarily, but its incredibly easy to allow clutter to build up. Desktop Tidy provides a flexible solution, which can manually or automatically keep the Desktop clear of files. Desktop Tidy's flexible options allow important files to remain on the Desktop.

Desktop Tidy's automatic tidy will move files from the Desktop to a Shadow Desktop, keeping the wallpaper free from clutter. Rather than hiding the files away, Desktop Tidy provides immediate access to the files via a convenient status menu. Desktop Tidy's Quick Filter options allow files to be easy located in the Shadow Desktop.
