How to Set Your Mac's Primary Display

These are instructions on how to set your Mac's primary display when using multiple monitors. Setting a display as primary will force the menubar and dock to appear on that monitor.
Step One
Click to select System Preferences... from the Apple menu at the top left of your screen.
Step Two
Click to choose Displays from the System Preferences window.
Step Three
Select the Arrangement tab from the Displays window.
Step Four
Click and drag the white menubar from its current display to the one you would like as your primary display.
Your screens will now refresh to the new setting.
