Intel is worried that Apple may be considering the switch to ARM processors for its future MacBook computers, reveals CNET.

Speaking with Greg Welch, director of Intel's Ultrabook group, CNET asks him about the possibility of Apple using ARM for its upcoming laptops.

Welch: We hear the same rumors and it would be remiss of us to be dismissive. We endeavor to innovate so they'll continue to look to us as a supplier.

Interestingly, a report earlier this month revealed that Apple told Intel that it better drastically slash its power consumption or it would likely lose their business.

A report from May revealed that Apple has been testing an A5 MacBook and another report says Apple will make the move in 2013.
