Apple Releases $999 iMac for Educational Institutions

Apple has launched a $999 iMac that is only available to k-12 and higher education institutions.

The 21.5-inch computer features a 3.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i3 processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB HD, and AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics.

It appears that Apple is still offering a 20-inch 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with a 160GB HD for $899. That model is also only available to k-12 andd higher education institutions.
