Apple has enabled Find My Mac for Developers via the iCloud.com, according to numerous developer reports.

The feature functions much like Find My iPhone letting you play a sound, send a message, remotely lock or remotely wipe your Mac computer.

Developers can enable Find My Mac service under the iCloud System Preference pane.

Hey wouldnt it be be great if they could use Find My Mac to use my location send me ads for local restaurant, stores, or attractions? Google already has a record of every hyperlink you have ever clicked, so I'm sure they have a pretty good profile of my tastes.
