iPad 2 Supply Finally Catches Up to Demand

iPad 2 Supply Finally Catches Up to Demand

Posted August 2, 2011 at 4:13pm by iClarified
Apple has finally caught up to the demand for the iPad 2 with shipping times dropping to 'within 24 hrs'.

The iPad 2 was released on March 11th. Apple sold out of its initial batch almost immediately and shipping times slipped to 2-3 weeks. Since then the company has been struggling to meet demand with shipping times only just having reached 'within 24 hrs'.

Despite being able to get the iPad 2 almost immediately, customers now have to decide whether to wait for the rumored iPad 3 that could arrive as early as September.

I wonder if that's because the demand is decreasing, or because their supply capabilities have increased...?
