JAS Applications has announced the release of their latest iOS App 'GPS - Location Tracker'. The App works worldwide so wherever you are, whenever you're there, GPS - Location Tracker provides one tap access to your current location and allows you to view it on three different types of stunning maps: Standard, Satellite and Hybrid. As you change your whereabouts, the App uses real time information to move the pin on the map as your location changes making the App have greater usability.

You can also even view your current latitude, longitude and altitude and then simply copy it to your device's clipboard to use in other Apps or send it via Email, SMS, Twitter or Facebook meaning that you can find people you know in the area with the tap of a button. The App has a sleek and easy to use interface.

I was a fool :( In the iClarified the RSS feed it said "GPS - Location Tracker tracks your location within centimetres worldwide making it the mode advanced, easy to use GPS App in the App Store". I tried it, the accuracy is exactly the same as google maps. It is about 20 meters off not centimeters!!! Tested it in ipad 2 and two different iphones in the 13th floor outside at the balcony. App says altitude is 0.00000. bull$hit app!!!

Seriously... I don't see why someone would want to pay for this app!

I guess the difference is that you get Lat/Long/Alt. But you give up Search and Routing. Doh! Um, yeah... I think I will stick with my Google Maps, which is already installed, and is FREE! You disappoint me iClarified...

What is different from the built-in Maps app? I suspect this post was made by the author of this app...
