China Mobile to Offer New iPhone Beginning in September

After reporting that it had reached a consensus with Apple on its 4G technology, China Mobile is now saying that a new iPhone will debut on its network in September.

Reuters reports that Shanghai Daily broke the news today quoting Liu Yang, the firm's marketing official who posted on his blog, "A new iPhone with China Mobile's network will debut and the cooperation will be announced in September."

The Shanghai Daily continued saying that the iPhone would like be offered on a 4G service.


Wednesday, Tim Cook was spotted at China Mobile headquarters.
