Evidence of two new iPhone devices have been found in the just released Apple TV firmware.
The iPhone 4 is referred to as iPhone3,1 by Apple. However, the Apple TV firmware contains references to iPhone3,2 and iPhone 3,3.
These references suggest iPhone 4 devices with minor hardware revisions such as possibly a CDMA version or a device with modifications to the antenna. A major hardware revision would be denoted by iPhone 4,1.
It's also possible that Apple is not planning a major hardware upgrade for next year's iPhone. This would be similar to minor changes made from the iPhone 2G to the iPhone 3G which were respectively denoted as the iPhone1,1 and the iPhone1,2.
There is also an unknown device numbered 20547 that can be seen in the screenshot below.
Who cares. This isn't news the same damn thing has happened for the last 3 years around the same time every year. Everyone knows there will be a new iPhone in June or July. Its what it is and has been for the past 4 years, ya know since theres 4 iPhones?
....dissapointing, almost every damn blog and website has posted long ago about the UE policy in regards of cellphones for next year when all new cellphones must use "micro-usb" as standard conector yet everybody has this "Oh wow, new devices coming"....those 2 new iphones are the same iPhone 4 using the micro-usb and most likely a redesigned antena-gate that drops less calls...Q1-2011...
Did you miss the fact that they can simply include 50 cent dongle that goes from micro-usb to dock connector. no modifications to the iphone are required.
I highly doubt they will release a new iphone before next summer. They have always been consistent on product annual release dates and that fact will not change.
Nop, under the EU policy the connector has to be built in, it cant be as an adapter on top, also everybody has to remember that Mapple is in hot watter with the regulators in Europe, gotta love them, they wont take sh*t from anybody, lol.
Also the policy implies for the change to take effect on 2011, since it's Europe that means Jan-1-2011.
It's Europe, not the US, as always the US is behind tech innovation however in this case, since it's Mapple, they will just do a whole modification for the new model, will they call it iPhone 4 GS?, they may come with something else, besides who knows if it will come with extra stuff ...who knows...
Read the links...well, google for "Europe single charger policy", then read the links, what they want is a single cord, no extra stuff attached to it, between the plug and the phone.
