Yahoo CEO Says Apple's iAd is 'Going to Fall Apart'

Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz tells Reuters that Apple's iAd service is 'going to fall apart' in a recent interview.

Earlier this year Apple introduced its iAd service to create premium ads for marketers on the iPhone.

"That's going to fall apart for them," Bartz said about Apple's iAd service. "Advertisers are not going to have that type of control over them. Apple wants total control over those ads."


Advertisers are becoming increasingly frustrated at the slow start of the iAd network due to Apple's tight control of the ad-making process; however, developers are increasingly frustrated at Apple's control over the App Store, and it clearly hasn't fallen apart.

Thats because there is no other option for the app store (unless you jailbreak), advertisers have a million ways to advertise their products .. not just the iPhone !!!!!!!
