A Fresh New Word Game

Nordersoft has announced the release of WordMesh HD 1.0 for iPad devices. WordMesh is beautifully rendered in 3D and players simply flick the letters up or down in space to solve the WordMesh, which sounds easy but even with the letters in the right order it's harder than one would think.

Players work against the clock solving each puzzle in the given number of moves. They must stay focussed to solve the puzzles, whereupon each solution earns them points and time to continue playing. Each level has a target score, which when reached turns the difficulty up a notch. At the end of each level there is a special 'Sideways Shuffle' puzzle where some of the letters are swapped sideways - solving this earns the player double points.

The progressive hints system ensures that players will never get stuck but over-reliance on hints will use up their precious time. Taking too many moves to solve a puzzle will even make the words explode!

Progress through each game is logged and the player can review how well they're doing at any point. They can also review their words to find out the meanings of any they weren't familiar with. This is a feature that is especially useful for youngsters, who have a huge appetite for learning new words.

Four difficulty levels offer gameplay for all ages and skill levels and there is a separate scoreboard for each level, plus a combined scoreboard that everyone can compare scores on regardless of their difficulty level.
