This is great, but it would have been a lot nicer for you to highlight how to successfully upgrade from 3.2 (Spirit) to 3.2.1 JailbreakMe. I'm assuming most are in my same predicament and not wanting to redo everything from scratch. Will a pre JailbreakMe backup of 3.2 work to run a (soft) restore after running JailbreakMe on an updated 3.2.1? This would be more helpful than a "how to" on sliding a button and following the (almost stupid, idiot proof) steps of the JailbreakMe process.

All you need to do is backup your iPad. If you have Installous make sure the "Sync with iTunes" is on and then sync your iPad. That will put those apps on your computer. Then backup the iPad, update to 3.2.1, JB, then restore from backup to put your settings, WIFI, pics etc back on the iPad. Then sync your apps and put them on the screens you want. Pretty simple. It is kinda redoing everything but ain't that bad. GL

Worked for me. My iPad was on 3.2, jailbroken with Spirit. So I: 1) Backedup the iPad (right click on the iPad name on iTunes>Backup) 2) Updated to 3.2.1 on iTunes (I actually restored and updated, but I'm guessing just Update works) 3) JB like in the tutorial 4) Restored from backup cheers
