Android 2.2 vs iOS 4: Real World Browser Speed Test [Video]

A real world browser speed test shows Android 2.2 barely edges out iOS 4 in loading web pages.

Engadget conducted the tests twice. Once with Flash enabled on Android and once without. With Flash enabled the two were at a tie. Without Flash, Android's browser was able to take a slight lead.

ArsTechnica recently performed some benchmarks which revealed that JavaScript execution in Froyo's Web browser is two to three times faster than iOS 4; however, the javascript improvements haven't made a noticeable difference in page load times.
