O iPhone Dev-Team tem postado insinuando que o projeto RedSn0w é...

- Bom, não é um aplicativo Britânico termonuclear.
- Não é um episódio do “The Twilight Zone”
- E certamente não tem nada haver com o iPhone 3G
- Só pode ter um outro aparelho…
- Que poderia ser?

Parece provável que o redsn0w tem alguma coisa com o iPod touch. Talvez um jailbreak para a segunda geração do iPod touch.

A imagem no site http://www.redsn0w.com tem sido atualizado com uma espécia de chave na parte de cima esquerda da página. Parece muito semelhante a uma chave MD5. Também a imagem da criança jogando o jogo-da-velha tem sido tirado e trocado por uma visualização parcial de um chip.

Finally........I hope they finish it soon, been wiaitng for a while plus my iphone screen just cracked and stop working so I'm stuck with the 2g for now. Dev team u guys are the greatest.

MuscleNerd made a reply to a comment on the dev-teams blog confirming that it is iPod Touch related and that they were 'diverted by another exploit which they were not expecting' Also he says that the code that the top is.... ' an "escrow" hash of decrypted iBoot for ipt2g (length=0x29000). Not otherwise obtainable except via an exploit (afaict). This is most likely a jailbreak for iPod Touch 2G

Yup.. It's a picture of the ARM chip in the iPod Touch 2G. redsn0w is a jailbreak for the ipt2g...
