Hoe gebruik ik Green Screen in iMovie '09

Instructies van 'Hoe gebruik is Green Screen in iMovie '09' legt uit hoe je de achtergrond van je video verandert.

Stap 1
Voor deze tutorial zal je 2 clipjes nodig hebben: 1 dat met een Green Screen achtergrond is gefilmd en een andere, die je als nieuwe achtergrond wilt gebruiken.

Open iMovie '09 door het icoontje te klikken in de applicatie map.

Hoe gebruik ik Green Screen in iMovie '09

Stap 2
Klik New Project... bij het menu 'Bestand'.

Stap 3
Geef het project een naam en druk de creëer- knop.

Stap 4
iMovie zal nu je nieuwe project laten zien.

SelecteerImporteer in het menu 'bestand'.

selecteer Movies... van het importeer-menu

Als er gevraagd wordt om een kwaliteit in te stellen, klik dan op de gewenste grootte en klik de OK knop. (Groot is meestal oké).

Selecteer de 2 filmpjes en druk de Import knop.

Je kan nu zien dat de 2 filmpjes zijn toegevoegd.

Stap 5
Klik Preferences in de IMovie menu, vanboven op het scherm.

Van de General tab van iMovie Preferences venster, zorg dat Show Advanced Tools aangeklikt is en sluit het venster..

Je kan nu zien dat er meer knoppen staan in het IMovie project venster.

Stap 6
Selecteer een deel van het filmpje dat je als achtergrond wilt gebruiken door er op the klikken en te slepen van het begin tot het einde van het filmpje.

Sleep het geselecteerde achtergrond filmpje vn beneden naar de project tijdlijn vanboven.

Stap 7
Selecteer het deel van de green screen video waar je de achtergrond wilt. Klik en sleep van het begin tot het einde van het filmpje on volledig te selecteren.

Sleep het clipje naar waar het achtergrond filmpje al staat en laat de muis los wanneer het ene filmpje bovenop het andere is.

Selecteer Green Screen van de pop-up menu die nu verschijnt.

Stap 8
De green scrren film zal nu automatisch de andere achtergrond hebben. Klik op Spatie om de video af te spelen.

Stap 9
Als de achtergrond niet volldeig er op staat, kan je het deel dat wordt gebruikt om te veranderen verkleinen.

Will it work for colours other than green? If I have a very uniform background of, for example, red, will it still be replaced?

Hi, well done, the tutorial explained very well. However, I edit my video (i had a video of a black cat on a colourful background - wanted to change it for a plain, white background) in an exactly the same way as you showed, but unfortunately the background instead of changing completely into white - just overlays and gives a video something similar to TV fuzz effect??? I would be very grateful for your help. thank you

It seems like you didn't quite understand the concept of green screen. In order to place your cat in front of a different background, you would have to shoot a video of the cat in front of a green wall. It is very important that the green background is a very uniform, even green colour. Then you shoot separately the background where you want y7our cat to appear. When your cat video on top of the background video, iMovie will analyse your shot with the cat and make every green pixel transparent, so that the image below it (the video with the background) would show. Since your background was colourful, only the parts where there was some green colour were replaced with whatever video was in the background.
