Cydia ha sido bloqueada en Reino Unido e Irlanda por la operadora 3, y en China por China Unicom, según twitea el desarrollador Steve Troughton-Smith.

Guau, 3 Ireland (operadora de iPhone) ha bloqueado el acceso a los servidores de Cydia desde su red: http://go.ww.com/cydia/ /via @0xMW

@stroughtonsmith 3 UK también ha bloqueado el acceso a Cydia. No sólo en prepago, sino también en contrato.

Esto es sólo parte de una serie de sucesos, os mantendremos informados según vayan saliendo más noticias. Tened en cuenta que el acceso a Cydia ha sido bloqueado solo mediante 3G. No hay problema en seguir accediendo via Wi-Fi.

Why the fack would they do that, it only costs customers, that's all what those companies care about..

Just had a total outage on 3 in my area (in UK), after which Cydia works fine on iPhone 4 and iPad (different SIMs, BTW). Almost certainly a decision by the filtering company that didn't match 3's desires for their 'adult' block and so has now been undone.

I can confirm that. Tried on 3 different iPhones on Thursday and cydia didn't work. But, I called three support and ask them to remove any restrictions on my 3 number and they did :-) so, I'm ok again. I can even access some other websites which I wasn't allowed to visit before :-)

You can call 3 UK on 333 from your mobile and ask them to remove the adult content filter which they should do at no charge. I was told they were having a problem with the filter provided by the Internet Watch Foundation by a member of 3 staff.

I can now confirm that I can access Cydia on 3G after calling 3 as above. They seem to have also added 2GB to my all-you-can-eat data plan too :) Thanks to @prenvo for letting me know about this

3 is working fine on my iPad in England. Just checked both over 3G
